Coronavirus Shaped Plant

A pleasing surprise recently at the Sardhro Hindu Temple Kumbh (Pond), Nagar Parkar, #Sindh, #Pakistan where a few trees were full of #CoronaVirus shaped blooming flowers. None of the member of Clifton Urban Forest team was familiar with these tall and elegant trees as had not seen them anywhere else before.
Later, the team discovered that the said tree species was Rudraksh (Mitragyna Pervifolia). The seed of this tree “Rudraksha” is associated with Lord Shiva and used as a prayer bead.

The team brought the seeds to try at the Clifton Urban Forest. Let’s see when it sprouts.
