The Message From Founder

Clifton Urban Forest is a revolutionary step towards turning Karachi into a green city of Pakistan. It was not possible without a vision. Actually, we started with planting one million Peelu trees on the Sea View Beach of Karachi on August 14, 2020 as part of our efforts to save Karachi from Tsunami and its harmful impact on the coastal belt. It took us a few months to realize that this place requires a great initiative and this could have not been possible without the support from concerned authorities, community and the team of our dedicated volunteers. Then came the idea of planting a wide variety of species along with Peelu to cool down the temperature and beautify the barren beach land which had become a Dumping Den for litter. Over a period of six months, this place has changed from a Dumping Den to a beautiful Urban Forest which we call Mangal main Jungle. This is just the beginning of our mission to make Pakistan, a green country if we really want to save our country from environmental hazards in the years to come. A lot needs to be done!
